Watercolor Scrap Papers

I love the little awesome things that happen in art. Like mistakes that end up making a piece really cool. Or a color that just brings everything together. One of these, though, are test sheets that end up looking like art itself. When testing out a new medium, or new product, trial and error is a must. I always try these things out on a separate sheet of paper and it oftentimes comes out looking nice.

Keeping these test sheets around is also super fun and helpful if you’re wanting to make a layout photo. You know the kind; a colored piece of paper, some brushes scattered about, some paints, and lots of Tumblr vibes.

It’s amazing how little papers that aren’t meant or guessed to have value can be art and photography opportunites.
